Why Should Church People Hog The Street?

July 30, 2009

Sometimes when I’m riding my bike to work, I notice on Sundays all these church people. They park in the lanes, but it forces the bikers to go around the lanes and into traffic, and its really dangerous. It’s really just another irritating example of religion getting special treatment or what they would call “a free pass.” Double-parking in other scenarios you’ll sometimes get a ticket. Anyways. Not much today, else for this little rant.

Science Center in Golden Gate Park

July 15, 2009

This is just a quick advice: if you come here, fuck pier 39. It’s a tourist trap that’ll suck you dry, and there are far better places to git yer clam chowder, people!!

The new science center costs $25 bucks, but go on a Monday, preferably not over summer when we went, because there’s two billion kids. It’s well worth the money. The planetarium show is awesome and breathtaking, the aquariums alone took 3 hours to traverse, the live penguin feeding simply has to be experienced, and the 3-D bug show makes IMAX look like Beta.

Really, though, go to newly remodeled science center in Golden Gate Park and bring yer creationist friends!

Yeah! One Year Of Blogging

July 4, 2009

Just a quick one to say, it’s been a year and gone by fast. Although I don’t really have a whole lot of posts, a little over 1.3 a month on average, I definitely feel I’ve learned alot from writing here, and reading other atheists’ blogs as well. Although I’ve done more than many people who start out, write a post or two and just quit, I reckon it’s time to start being a more involved blogger, by writing more and longer pieces, and actually commenting on some of these blogs that have helped me learn in my journey “from religion and the midwest to freedom in San Francisco.” I’m sure that by communicating with others who have similar thoughts and concepts, I’ll only be motivated to push forward.

Looking forward, but for now, I’ve got a party to attend.
